The second day of the Mens competition is still underway. With 63 matches being played today, the standard has again been very high indeed.
The highest break of the day was compiled by Michael Judge of Ireland. His finely crafted 111 in the third frame of his Group J encounter with Russian teenager Ivan Kakovsky takes second place in the breaks table. Sachar Ruberg (Israel) takes third on the breaks board, finishing his Group W match with a 108 and a 4-0 victory. David Lilley was another player with a ton today, 105 in Group K.
With around half of the third matches complete, Adam Stefanów, Kacper Filipiak and Kristján Helgason haven’t yet lost a frame. On average Adam is scoring 80 points per frame, a remarkable achievement given the quality of the players in Nicosia this year.
