The 2013 Annual General Meeting took place at 7pm last night in the Ruben Hotel in Zielona Gora and was well attended by all the national representatives as well as invited guests. With the outgoing chairman Jim Leacy stepping down this year Maxime Cassis was nominated and voted in as the new Chairman of the EBSA for the next two years.

The other positions on the board will be held by Dariusz Goral (EBSA Vice Chairman) , Simon Smith (EBSA General Secretary) and John Terry (EBSA Treasurer) while the IBSF President Jim Leacy will now stay on as an honorary board member after the new position was voted upon.

The meeting last approximately three and a half hours and many issues were discussed on the night including proposals for future championships which we hope to be able to confirm later on in the year.

We also spoke regarding the new web site and explained to the various countries that we are hoping that they will get involved and contribute regular news to the site with each member country now able to have account access to submit news from their respective national events.
