History is made in Gandia for Spanish Snooker

For the very first time a European Snooker Championships is being played on Spanish Soil, as the 2026 European Championships are underway here in Gandia in the Province of Valencia in Spain.
The EBSA President Maxime Cassis welcomed everyone to the Palace Hotel and made a special mention for the parents of the young players.

The Championship got underway with the U16 Championships at 10am and play will continue throughout the day in the group stages.

The U18 European Championships begin tomorrow morning and the Group Draws are now available on www.ebsa.tv

The venue is superb and Mr Cassis congratulated the Spanish Federation, the Table Fitters and the EBSA Team ahead of the Championships with a special word of thanks to Ana Maria Meneses Vilalta and Rafael Argente for all their help and hard work getting the Championship ready.
