Joel Williams and Dad Mark are here in Sarajevo

Play has just got under-way in the EBSA U16 European Championships and at last the waiting is over and play can begin.

There is a record entry to the Under 16 section of the 2024 European Championships with a huge attendance this morning ahead of play.

One very nervous Dad this morning is three time World Professional Snooker Champion Mark Williams pictured with his son Joel who represents Wales today in the Under 16 European Championships.

Playing is tough, but watching your child represent their Country at an International Event is nerve wracking and all of the parents here in Sarajevo along with Mark will vouch for that.
