EBSA Second semi-final sees Ukraine take on Moldova
Mykhailo Larkov from Ukraine takes on Vladislav Gradinari in the second U16 Championship semi-final, with Match Referee Tsvetelina Minkova from Bulgaria.
In the first semi-final Riley Powell played a very impressive semi-final match on his way to a 4-1 victory over Poland’s Michal Szubarczyk.
The Welshman lost the opening frame, but it was one way traffic from there on in as Powell attacked with purpose and accuracy in the remaining four frames. There was times that Powell looked like he would not miss anything and his safety game in this match was very strong when it needed to be.
Riley obviously delighted with the win will take a lot of confidence with him into the final following that performance and Powell also competes in the U18 EBSA European Championships and plays some Group Matches today also.
The Welshman will now wait and see who has to play in the Final.
