EBSA Annual General Meeting 2024

The European Billiards and Snooker Association will hold its Annual General Meeting in the Hotel Hills Congress & Termal Spa in Sarajevo on Saturday the 16th of March at 10am.

EBSA President Maxime Cassis

EBSA President Maxime Cassiss said “This year’s AGM will as always, be very important and I hope all the delegates can please make it to our Annual General Meeting. The policies and the values of the EBSA are hugely significant for us all as the EBSA increases in numbers every year. There is much to discuss and decide as we move forward together in a moment in our history where we are getting stronger and stronger as an Association. We will find ourselves in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the AGM for the first time, in this exciting Nation with its passion for Cue Sports. The general feedback is one off excitement heading to Sarajevo and I think the record breaking numbers of participating players speaks for itself.  On behalf of the EBSA Board members and myself, I hope that everyone will enjoy the experience and enjoy the Championships”.

Before the European U16, U18, U21 and Men’s Championships begin on the 11th of March there will be a New Referee’s Seminar on the day before Sunday the 10th of March. The work that all the Referees do is exceptional and appreciated by the players, the EBSA Board and everyone involved at the championships.

The very experienced Jan Scheers from Belgium will be the Head Referee for the 2024 European Snooker Championships assisted by Poland’s Krzysztof Golszewski.

Along with the Head and Assistant Head Referee there will be 35 Referees in Sarajevo which is a fantastic number of Officials showing their dedication towards Refereeing and their passion for the game.
