Top Polish Team Directing Tournament Operations in Sarajevo

Poland’s Mateusz Rusin will be the Tournament Director in Sarajevo for the 2024 EBSA European Snooker Championships and the Assistant Tournament Director will be Wiktoria Jedriszek.

The tournament is safe with two vastly experienced Officials who know pretty much everything about European Championships, from wearing the white gloves, to making the key decisions during the event.

There will be a tournament office set up in the Hill Congress Hotel where all the key decisions will be made.

Both Mateusz and Wiktoria head up a very strong team for Sarajevo and both Directors have excellent experience with the EBSA and indeed the WPBSA over many years and both will bring those values and experience to Sarajevo.

EBSA President Maxime Cassis said, “It is great to work with Mateusz and Wiktoria again in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their knowledge in this area is outstanding and they both are very experienced in all aspects of EBSA tournaments. Tournament Directing is a tough job with many demands during a championship, but in Mateusz and Wiktoria we have two very capable people who I am sure will make the event run like clockwork”.

With record numbers of players in the Men’s and U16 event, plus the usual high entry in the U18 and U21 events will keep the tournament office on its toes, add the Three WPBSA Q-Tour playoff finals into the mix and Sarajevo 2024 should be the biggest event yet and it is only weeks away now.
