EBSA Cue Zone Day 3 with PJ

Day 3 of the PJ Nolan EBSA Cue Zones was held on Friday 17th of October in the Grand Blu FaFa Resort/Golem in Albania at the 2025 European Snooker Championships.
Free Cue Zones
EBSA Head of Coaching PJ Nolan from Ireland is conducting free cue zones on the 15th to the 18th from 10am – 4pm for EBSA players who attended this year’s European Snooker Championships.

Maxime Cassis EBSA President ‘’ said that our EBSA cue zones are a vital part in our development of the sport in Europe. We are delighted to have PJ and his EBSA team holding these cue zones to help our players improve their games from qualified EBSA Coaches’’
Players in Action Today
PJ worked today with talented players from Romania, Malta, Portugal, Bulgaria on developing good fundamentals in their Approach, Cue Action, Stance and Bridge Hand plus on their Break Building Skills.
The players practiced a selection of PJ’s practice drills and receive a handout with information on what to practice and on how to preparing for matches. PJ was very impressed with all the player’s commitment and he really hopes they enjoyed the session.

Booking a Session
Any player / country competing in this year’s EBSA Championship in Albania has the opportunity to book a date and time into the EBSA Cue Zone Schedule for a 30minute lesson in the Tournament office.
EBSA Qualified Coaches who are attending the Championship in Albania also have the opportunity to hold their own Cue Zones from 4pm – 6pm each day. They must be dressed in the official EBSA Polo Shirt and send a report to the ebsa which will be published on our www.ebsa.tv web site

Promotion of the game
The Cue Zones have been organised by The European Billiards & Snooker Association to highlight the EBSA Coaching Academy.
EBSA have 105 Qualified coaches from Ireland, Croatia, France, Austria, Romania, Israel, Bulgaria, Wales, Malta, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Portugal, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Isle of Man, Hungary, Belgium, England, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lithuania, Belarus, Switzerland, Almenia, Bosnia, Albania, Macedonia, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Moldova on the EBSA coaching team.

Latest Training Aids
During the cue zones this year, players can view and use the latest coaching and training aids on the market to enhance their sessions like the QLine, Master Doctor, Str8aim G-5 & SA-2, Chris Henry Balls, Academy laser, EBSA Coaching Balls which help to get the players on the line of aim and develop a smoother stroke in their delivery.
Become a EBSA Coach
If you would like to become an EBSA Official Snooker Coach, first step is to get your National Governing body to write to the EBSA to nominate you to apply to hold or attend a course.
All the coaches must be nominated by their National Association and will complete this 3 day EBSA Course plus attend an online WPBSA Child Safeguarding course to become Qualified EBSA Coaches with WPBSA Accreditation. The next course will be held at the EBSA Championships in Spain in 2026.
