Third EBSA European Disability Championships in Bulgaria September 2026

In a couple of months time on the 20th of September we will see the start of the 2026 European Disabilty Snooker Championships at the Ramada Hotel in Sofia, with multiple European Snooker Titles up for grabs in what will be another fantastic championships full of passion and talent.
Again the EBSA have partnered with the WDBS for this championship following the huge success of the innaugural European Disability Championships in Portugal in 2024 and last year’s event in Albania.

EBSA President Maxime Cassis said “It has been so succesful, we know that the level of play and the sheer competitive nature of these events with our partners the WDBS is on a par with anything that we have ever seen before. We didn’t know how it would go in Albufriera two years ago, but we were blown away by the event and everyone who were invoved in the running of the European Disability Championships, the Referee’s and the brilliant players. Now we are approaching our third championship we have seen the number of players increase which is great and I woud encourage more players to come and experience what is a truly brilliant championships. The EBSA welcome as many players that want to come, the registration or application to play in Sofia is already in place, so let’s see this continued progression of this event grow and grow. The European Snooker family is getting bigger and bigger and we wholeheartedly welcome back some friends that we have now made and look forward to making some new friends in Bulgaria. My congratulations to the Chairman of the WDBS Nigel Mawer QPM and all his team on making the European Disability Championships such a success”.
