2026 European Championships Calendar of Events and Championships
The 2026 European Snooker Championships and The 2026 European Disability Snooker Championships and Q-Tour European Event no2 will be played between Wednesday the 9th of September until Thursday the 25th of September at the Princess Hotel, Sofia, Bulgaria, the venue for previous Championships.

FORMAT FOR ALL “TEAMS” CHAMPIONSHIPS
As agreed at the 2024 EBSA Annual General Meeting, it was formally proposed and approved to adopt
the Scotch-Doubles for every frame (Best of Five) format for all the Team Championships. This means
that there will NOT be “individual” frames in the matches.

Transfers Airport/Hotel/Airport will NOT be organised by the BSF
There is a direct metro from Sofia airport till the RAMADA Hotel
Taxis are available for an average price of €15 to €20 (one way) for 3 persons
Access to the Travel & Accommodation Form will be closed by
Friday 4th September 2026 (Midnight, CET)

Local currency in Bulgaria is the Euro (€)
PRIZE MONEY
Prize money for winner until quarter finalist will be paid by bank transfer.
Prize money for all championships will be awarded according to the EBSA championship conditions
and published before the start of each event.
