Day three of the European Championships

Day three of the European Championships is the business end of the Group Stages and it’s getting interesting with some groups really down to the last match for decision. With dreams and hopes on the line for the European Title and a Main Tour Card at stake the tension levels will rise significantly over the next 24 hours.

184 players started off last Monday, but by tonight the field will be halved and the pressure will really begin. Players like Ross Bulman of the Republic of Ireland and Iulian Boiko from the Ukraine have played the perfect group games without dropping a frame and it will be interesting to see how the seedings unfold.

Seeding will be vital going forward in the Championship, but it can go anyway when it comes to knockout Snooker. The draw for the Knockout Stages will be made immediately after the last Group Match has finished.
