Irishman Thomas wins the semis thriller

Brendan Thomas (61) of Ireland made it to the finals of the Masters’ individual tournament after surviving a nail-biting decider against Malta’s Jason Paplow. The two gentlemen kept trading frames right down to the end, until Thomas won it 5-4 in the decider by sinking a fantastic long pink. The Irishman will now face Welshman Darren Morgan over 11 frames later today to try and deny him his second title of the week.
