The last matches in the European Ladies Championships have now all concluded with 12 matches played this morning and now all the qualifiers are now confirmed.
In Group A Diana Stateczny sealed her spot as No.2 in the group behind Tatjana Vasiljeva with a 3-0 win over Dalia Alska which included a superb 78 break in the last frame. Poland’s Malgorzata Sikorska will go through in 3rd spot after her 3-0 win over Olga Ustinova and Bulgaria’s Nikoleta Nickolva’s 3-1 win over Tetiana Prokopyszak ensures that she would go through in fourth place.
Group B this morning saw 3-0 wins for Irina Gorbataya, Roberta Cutajar and Stefanie Teschner who will now go through to the knockouts in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively behind Wendy Jans who finished the group undefeated.
Anastasia Nechaeva was in fine form this morning knocking in breaks of 31,31 and 33 in her 3-1 victory over Weronicka Nowicka to top the group ahead of Ewa Pawinska. Yana Shut is in 3rd spot thanks to a 3-0 win also this morning. Linda Lassaut of France then completes the line up thanks to her 3-2 win over Claudia Weber this morning.
Another Russian player Daria Sirotina also topped Group D remaining undefeated and she will be joined by Diana Schuler (2nd) , Manon Melief (3rd) and Inese Lukashevska who took the final spot with all three players only separated by frame difference.
