Mertens joins Nüssle in U21 final
Belgium’s Ben Mertens will be the opponent of Austrian Florian Nüssle at the best of 9 Frames U21 event final match to be played this Sunday starting 4 p.m. at Shengjin’s Delfin Resort.
U18 european champion in 2021, Mertens claimed victory over England’s Liam Pullen by 4 Frames to 0 in semifinal 2 of the U21 event, after Nüssle’s win over Aidan Murphy by 4 Frames to 1 in semifinal 1.
Filand’s Tryggvi Erlingsson will referee the final and his fellow countrywoman and wife Satu Isolehto will be the marker.
