Aaron Hill (U18 European Champion) Ross Bulman (European U21 Finalist) Greg Casey (European Men’s Semi Finalist) and Noel Landers (3rd Place in the Israel Open) are all from the same County of Cork is the south of the Republic of Ireland and today May the second all four were invited to Cork City Hall by the 1st Citizen of Cork, the Lord Mayor of the City Mick Finn to celebrate their achievements in Eilat.

The Lord Mayor said “I want to congratulate the four players for their fantastic play in Israel and I can tell you now the City and everyone in Cork are very proud of them. Cork is a hub for sports such as GAA, Rugby, Soccer and many other sports throughout the City and the County and Snooker has always been a very big part of who we are and when we have four players breaking through to the next levels that is very exciting for everyone. I wish to congratulate the EBSA, the Cork Billiards and Snooker Association, the clubs, the friends and families who support Aaron, Greg, Ross and Noel and it is only right that we recognise the lads here tonight, well done and congratulations and I am sure we will see and hear a lot more about you in the years to come”.
