Six Reds semifinals on the run

Six Red event semifinals in the EBSA 2021 European Snooker Championships are on the run this Thursday night at Albufeira’s Vidamar Hotel Resort Algarve.

U21 European Champion Dylan Emery will also be playing at the Men/Mixed event, starting Friday morning

The race to find who will succeed Ukraine’s Iulian Boiko as European Champion is close to an end, with Estonian Anders Petrov facing Russia’s Ivan Kokovskii and Spain’s Aleix Melia battling with Poland’s Pawel Rogoza best of 7 frames for the two places at the Friday final, to be played at 10 a.m. best of 9 frames.

Runner-up at both the U18 and U21 events. Belgian Julien Leclercq will battle again at the Men/Mixed event

October 10th brings also the beginning of the Men/Mixed event with the round-robin stage matches, to be played best of 5 frames in five sessions at Salgados, starting also 10 a.m. – and continuing at 12, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. – for the 120 players running to succeed Welshman Andrew Pagett as European Champion.

The Official Opening Ceremony of the Men/Mixed event is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. at the hotel also on Friday. The EBSA Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Vidamar Resort Hotel Algarve. Due to the AGM in that morning, October 10th first session of the Men/Mixed event is scheduled for 12 o’clock.
