Tiihonen achieves century benchmark

Patrick Tiihonen performed first Friday 13th first man to achieve a century in U21 European Snooker Championships Last 32 round matches with a remarkable break of 102 points on frame 2 of his match with the 2019 and 2020 European U18 Snooker Champion Aaron Hill.

The 18 years old prodigy from Ireland claimed a 4-2 victory in the match to go through to Last 16 round of the U21 tournament taking place in Albufeira.

Tiihonen, aged 20, becames the sixth man to achieve a three digits break in the U21 competition and eight since the beginning of the European Championships with the U18 tournament in Albufeira.
