Aaron Hill is the 2020 European U18 Snooker Champion

Irishman Aaron Hill kept his 2019 U18 European Snooker crown in this year’s Championship played in Albufeira/Portugal by beating the Englishman Sean Maddocks 4-1 in the Final tonight.

Aged 18, Hill repeats the achievement of Welshman Jackson Page, U18 European Snooker Champion in 2017 and 2018.

EBSA chairman Maxime Cassis revealed that Aaron Hill won an invitation to play World Snooker Championship qualifying rounds next April in Sheffield with the professionals.

The Dean Thomas Trophy stays in the very same hands as in 2019 after a nearly two hours match where Aaron managed to overcame an opponent who has defeated him 4-0 at the WSF Open played in Malta in January.

Congratulations to Aaron Hill and Ireland for getting the first snooker European of four titles to be awarded in Portuguese soil in this 2020 EBSA European Snooker Championships.
