Carty rattles in two tons on way to semis
Ashley Carty rattled in two centuries in a row on his way to beat Sanderson Lam this morning. Lam started the match strong taking the first couple of frames but Carty drew level a 2-2 and came back out after the interval in superb form.
He knocked in a 115 break in the 5th frame and then followed it up with a superb 130 in the next to leave him only one frame away from booking his semi final spot. Lam rallied taking the next frame 100-10 but Carty held his composure and closed out the match 77-26 in the last frame.
