Esa Oikarinen had a great 3-2 victory over Yvan Van Velthoven this afternoon to seal the No.1 spot in Group E of the masters event. The finish player got off to a great start with a 59 break but the Belgian took the next two frames with the help of a 47 in the 3rd frame.
Esa took the next frame on the black to force the decider and he then won the last frame 78-22 to win the match and finish top of the group. Van Velthoven takes second spot and Viktor Myroniuk finished 3rd after he defeated Doron Lavie 3-1 this morning with Lavie finishing in 4th.
Vadzim Shut and Peter Varga still have to play their final match but with no wins to date the top four spots are already settled.
