The Women and Seniors players meeting of the 2023 European Women & Seniors individual Championships took place Monday 5^th June at the Perunika Hall (Venue) in Albena / Bulgaria.

69 players in 18 groups will compete for the European title in Seniors while on the ladies’ side there are 19 players split in five groups with first two from each one progressing to the knockout stage.

During the meeting the President of EBSA Maxime Cassis asked for a minute of silence in memory of the EBSA Treasurer John Terry who passed unexpectedly on May 3rd.

Referees also had their official meeting this morning. And the tournament officially got under way immediately after that with the first session of group matches.
