Russia, Belarus and Germany Ladies tie group B
Group B in the Ladies event is now complete and Russia, Belarus and Germany all ended up on eight points and all qualify for the Last 6 knockout stages.
However as they all beat each other and the Romanian team by exactly the same score lines they cannot be separated for seeding purposes. Thus a playoff will be held in the morning to determine who finishes 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Russia 2 won the final two frames in their match against Romania 1 for a 3-2 result tonight and they had to wait on the Germany v Belarus match to see who topped the group. However with Germany beating Belarus 3-2 the result means that the playoff will be necessary tomorrow.
