EBSA Cue Zone Day 5 goes Irish

Day five of the EBSA Coaching Zone with EBSA head Coach PJ Nolan and his team of Official EBSA Coaches held their fifth Cue Zone with players from the Republic Of Ireland this morning in the Dolmen Hotel in Malta.

Each morning from 8.30am -9.30am during the 2015 Under 21 and Team EBSA Snooker Championships PJ and his team of EBSA Coaches will conduct free sessions for all the players to learn the skills of the game from qualified EBSA coaches.

This morning PJ worked with Alan Matic, Shane Gorman, Robert Murphy, Mark Owens and Peter Donegan. The players practiced training routines to improve their cue ball control to open packs of reds and break building routines.

The Cue Zones have been organised by The European Billiards & Snooker Association to highlight the EBSA Coaching Academy. At present EBSA have 36 Qualified coaches from Ireland, France, Romania, Israel, Bulgaria, Wales, Malta, Poland, Netherlands, Portugal, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy and Spain on the coaching team.

If you would like to become a EBSA Official Snooker Coach, first step is to get your National Governing body to write to the EBSA to nominate you to apply to hold a course.
